On May 26, 2024, the Guangzhou Sino-Israel Bio-industry Incubation Base,Center(BIG)S in collaboration with the Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Association, Guangzhou High-tech Group, Guangzhou International Bio-Island Group, Danaher Corporation, and other organizations, officially launched the High-level Hospital Innovation Incubation and Transformation Recruitment Program. 

Leaders from 20 high-level hospitals within the province, representatives of medical experts, experts from technology transfer departments, and representatives from investment institutions gathered together to witness a new step taken by Guangdong in promoting the incubation and transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements from high-level hospitals.

This recruitment program targets individuals who are experts from high-level hospitals, high-level hospitals themselves, or enterprises engaged in the technology transfer of high-level hospitals. It focuses on recruiting projects with high transformation value but in the very early or early stages of transformation, facing higher transformation risks, and lacking financial support. The first batch of recruited projects will not exceed 10.

The recruitment program will tailor precise project transformation plans for each selected project and provide a range of personalized innovative incubation support services to fully address the bottlenecks in the process of technology transfer. In addition to enjoying the innovation and technology transfer support policies for hospitals and doctors in Huangpu District, selected projects will also have the opportunity to receive up to RMB 3 million (for innovative medical devices) or RMB 5 million (for innovative drugs) in special funds provided by the recruitment program. BIG will be provided on Bio-Island, where transformation projects can directly "move in with everything ready." the Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Association will offer comprehensive resource connections, think tank support, and technology promotion support in the fields of medical care, pharmaceuticals, and health insurance. Danaher Corporation, which has located its Greater Bay Area headquarters on Guangzhou Bio-Island, will provide platform and ecosystem empowerment for technology transfer.
